Knapp Hicks have extensive experience in this sector, on both large scale and smaller projects, and have incorporated innovative and cost saving methods to numerous projects for a wide variety of clients.
Recent and relevant examples of our work are as follows, however, many others can be provided upon request:
The refurbishment of the main shopping centre complex in Newport, South Wales. The project included upgrading of the roof, major alterations to individual units to meet the specifications of the new tenants and a new multi-storey car park.
This project involved the refurbishment of the Concord Shopping Centre in Shepherds Bush, London, W12. The project included building a steel framed bridge over the existing car park in one span, carrying a 12 screen cinema complex. This involved 1500 tonnes of steelwork. The project was completed without having to shut the shopping Centre, and allowed continuous trading.
Part of a phased redevelopment, Stanhope Parade is at the centre of this £200 million PFI project, which also includes 400+ low rise residential units, a new community centre and library.
