Full structural design services for this 9 storey student accommodation development for the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance. The development also includes studios/conference space at ground floor level, along with commercial retail space.
Social Housing regeneration scheme for 400+ low rise residential units for Denne Construction, Moat Housing Association & Ashford Borough Council. This project also included the provision of a new community centre, library, business centre and public house.
A total area of 1742m², this residential unit built over 3 stories comprises of 7 bedrooms, a double height entrance and a habitable basement and loft conversion. Knapp Hicks provided structural design services which included designs for the steel framed roof structure, load bearing masonry walls supporting precast floors and the RC Framed basement structure.
